At age 15, Jean Briese unexpectedly found herself and her three younger siblings living in a foster home. Despite the chaos and heartbreak she was experiencing at the time, the unconditional kindness of strangers led to a life-changing moment for Jean, in which she decided that she was going to live a good life and become one of the “helpers” who showed kindness to others.

As an adult, Jean spent over 25 years of her career creating and leading award-winning teams for a Fortune 10 technology firm.
