Have you ever formulated a clear plan for what you wanted to achieve at a certain stage of life, only to have circumstances outside of your control require you to change your plans? While situations like these may feel devastating at the time, they also represent opportunities to tune into your intuition and find a calling more closely aligned with your deeper self.

As a teenager living in Israel, Rabbi Pinchas Allouche planned to join the Israeli army and then study to become an attorney. However, when a genetic health condition prevented him from entering the army, he embarked on a journey that ultimately led him to his higher purpose. In Episode 88 of The MINDSet Game® podcast, Rabbi Allouche discusses the concept that as humans, we each have infinite potential. He shares various steps you can take in order to access this infinite potential, including:

  • An acronym to help you gain clarity on your purpose every day: “POPP,” which stands for personality, opportunities, places, and people
  • A simple mindset shift to implement in order to transform challenging situations into positive opportunities
  • Three steps to take if you want to become more attuned to your deeper self and higher purpose, but don’t know where to begin
  • The importance of taking action and trying different things – even if they don’t necessarily work out as planned

Today, Rabbi Allouche is the founder and spiritual leader of Congregation Beth Tefillah in Scottsdale, Arizona, as well as highly sought-after lecturer, blogger, and author of several essays on the Jewish faith, mysticism, and social criticism.
